Finally getting around to this one.
Out of the box it looks pretty good. Very few machine marks and nice grain in the basswood body.
Neck also looks really good and is already very smooth.
Sanding first.

nice looking kit Colin. Look forward to see the build progress
Great score colin. keep us updated, what are the plans?
Nice kit! Look forward to watching it progress. Can't help with the posts though I'm afraid
Are these the two bridge trem posts that came with the kit? Is it the stud inserts that are different sizes, so that one is too big/small for the hole in the body, or is it the tops of the post that are different sizes?
From your overall picture of the kit, it looks like you've got what looks like to be a Strat style bridge, whilst the kit picture shows a different style of bridge i.e.

...which looks as if it might use different sized bridge post-tops (one big, one small), though I'm only guessing.
A picture of the bridge and the posts would be useful, but it sounds like some sort of replacement is necessary. So I'd drop Adam an email, picture attached, and he should sort you out.
Are the threads the same size and pitch, so that you can use them in either of the supplies post hole inserts?
Odd. I have the same bridge that Simon pictured in my JMA-1 kit, but didn't notice any difference in the posts when I dummied up. I will go out to the shed and check in a little while. I guess that style isn't available for south paws?
Just checked my kit and both the posts are the same - they look like the one on the left hand side in your pic. So I guess unless there is something special with the bridge you have, one of them is wrong.

It does. Probably if they had been both the same of either type there wouldn't be a problem.
