what sort of timber is it Frankie ? has some nice grain figure. Is this a new Franky scratchy ?
African Mahogany Wokka. It was an itchy moment at my local Hardware and Building supplies place. It will become a couple of body blanks for now until I decide what to do with it actually finish one or two other builds.Quote:

you can build a shoe rack out of pine and stain it !
They started out 55mm Wokka, but they'll also need some levelling out. They are at about 52 after clean up through the thicknesser.
I ended up with 3M lineal, so thats at least 3 decent blanks....and a shoe rack fascia.
Ikea has shoe racks. Frankie has African Mahogany

I've got a small pile of spotted gum waiting a burst of enthusiasm somewhere down track, it will almost certainly be a chambered Tele with a 22 fret "rosewood" neck but no idea what to do for pickups maybe Fidelitrons done in Cabronita style

Looks good Franky. Remember not too much clamp pressure or the glue will squeeze out
Yeah, I have it about as much as the neck blanks I've made, they seem okay. We shall see, and if it all fails then I'll just have to start again.
