Aging Newbie
Hi Guys, name is Chris from North East of the UK
Can't play a guitar though had a few over the years gave up due to work and family commitments
Now I have time on my hands so last year bought a crappy copy one off ebay, upgraded that a few weeks ago, albeit a cheap one till I get a bit more competent with one, still trying like crazy to swop fast between 2 chords lol
I've got the bug after a lot of research and just yesterday ordered a kit for PitBull, can't wait till it arrives, going to have to control myself putting it together I know...

Thanks for the welcome mate, ordered a LP-1SP, added the pick up and hardware upgrade in gold to go with it.
Originally I was going to order GR1-SF but send a mail to Adam re the complexity of the soldering, almost took all his advice... just jumped up a little after watching some you tube vids... thought .I can do that so here we go, already almost decided on a Wudtone Amber finish, but think I need sit down take a few big breaths lol the kit probably hasn't even left Aussie yet...

Welcome to the forum Chris, when you get your kit, take a few deep breaths and start a build thread. Any questions or concerns you have, take photos and post them up and one of the guys will be able to help you out. This community is fantastic at supporting and encouragement and the depth of knowledge is immense. Have fun with it!

Welcome Chris, about a year ago I was in the the place as you with both playing and building. Common sense , ask lots of questions and lots of patience is the key to building. Playing...well if my stupid fingers would obey my stupid brain..... :P
