Newby in Perth
I recently got an invite by a friend to meet his friend Wokka who builds guitars..... and Wokka did warn me as soon as I met him... and here I am.
Over the years I've built all sorts of things... many model airplanes... choppers.. hotrods.. restored cars... all the usual boy stuff... play guitar... broke guitars... but never built one.
I soon orderd a TLA-1f (maple top bound tele) and was very thrilled when it tiurned up the next day
Since then I have scoured this site which is fully loaded with all types of info and offshoots to much more... well done guys.
Its a great disease... and I started building it yesterday
Now to start a build page

welcome Hooter, he came over yesterday and I ran through the build procedure. Nice kit he got the TLA-1F. He certainly has the GAS bug and it won't be his last kit ! He also had a squire guitar he is going to upgrade electrics and pickups. He almost damaged his kit when lifting it out of the car didn't have his fingers under the kit box and the contents fell on my driveway. Luckily no damage !
