Saddles - To roll or not to roll?

Hi guys. I've bought a cheap but good quality ES335 kit and I'm planning all my upgrades and designs (so it might take a while to finish).

The question is: Are roller saddles any good or are standard notched saddles better?

I'm not holding back on expense or quality with this one BTW.

If your gonna put a bigsby on then yes to rollers. If not get a Tonepros or Babicz.

No Bigsby...just a nice trapeze tailpiece. Thanks Pablo

It's better to avoid any unnecessary moving parts that can rattle and/or dampen string vibration. Even a Bigsby style whammy works fine without a roller bridge.
