Hey guys, just thought i'd post this as a matter of interest.
a month ago a mate of mine and I went halvsies on four guitars some dude was selling on fb marketplace.....so they were about $50 each.
a couple of them were squire bullets, so i decided to mod one......

The thing wails.
I replaced the pups with my Wilkinson Humbkuckers I had laying around, new CTS mimi pots and OG switch and a bone nut.
I pulled apart the trem system and the tuners and fixed them up a bit and they work fine.
mods cost about $60 bucks or so...
wow Andy that looks unreal the red paint and mods. You kept this one quiet !! Looks very nice good work buddy
what is the other axe you are doing a makeover on ?
Love the Squire reno Andy - they are great axes to use as a modding platform
