G'day oh wise ones,
Does anyone know what the standard kit tuners are based on, for the Tuff Dog I need to change the tuner heads from gold to pearloid and have found some on fleabay that are Gotoh compatible but not sure if that's what the kit ones are a knock off of.
think it will be a tough job to change the tuner heads DK, I guess the PBG tuners are similar to Gotoh but no idea how you would remove the tuner casing and tuner head. Don't think there are any screws to remove.
Might be worth pricing gold tuners with pearloid heads.
The tuning heads have a screw through them that holds them onto the shaft so it's only the actual buttons that get changed.
For a couple of bucks I'll bite the bullet and report back
Go for it Dave as it looks like the buttons are interchangeable.
$2.20 and free delivery for the set of buttons I reckon I won't hurt too much if they don't fit
