Hey guys, need some advice from the experienced guys.
I'm loving the ease of application for the wipe-on Poly, but it's not nearly hard enough.
Do I just need to put 100 coats on before it's thick enough?
What can you guys recommend for a hard finish that's not too thick and doesn't need to be sprayed?
wipe on poly is pretty good, but you need to give it time to fully cure
How many coats are you talking about though Stan?
I'm at nearly 10 and it's still super thin. Shiny as heck but after more than 2 weeks a gently thumb nail still scars pretty badly (on a test body, don't worry) and it feels like it's just a micron thick.
We talking about 20+ coats to get thick enough, or maybe I need to find a way to get more material on per coat?
