G'day everyone.
Played guitars for 45 years, so I thought it was about time to make one as close to exactly the way I like it.
Building a ST-1M, but adding an EMG-DG20 pickup system. (Yes: David Gilmour tragic)
Will go for a very light stain (if any). I was actually thinking about just using tru-oil. Thoughts? I'd like to try and keep it "blonde" all over.

Hi Zipen, welcome.
There are several ways to get a blonde finish including Tru Oil where the others as seen on this forum would be Dingo Tone Colourless Top Coat or Neck Finish which is supposed to be harder once cured. Also saw a hollow body done in Aussie Oil which looked similar to TO and at the moment AndrewOsbourne is doing a finish with shellac.

welcome , another thing to consider is that these are not one piece bodies, so sometimes each section looks slightly different to the next
