Another new member

Hello everyone Abel here
this is my first guitar I'm building it is still on its way I'm guessing it is the jk2 if everything goes accordingly I probably get another one and another one...
All I know about guitars is playing some and breaking strings. oh yeah and losing guitar picks if you know what I mean.

I have been running into a problem with the Tru oil Gunstock finish I live in San Diego California and for some reason no one is selling that product to California.

Does anybody know a web page a merchant that can get the Tru oil Gunstock finish for someone in San Diego California in this ctoase me?

Contact Birchwood Casey in the US and ask them for you local stockist, I would have thought Cabellas or Bass Pro shops would stock it, try any gun store you see.

Hi Abel. Tru oil has been banned in the state of California. You won't find it in stores and it's unlikely any will ship it to you from out of state. Sorry bro.

You can't just stop at one kit and one of those jk kits are on my list. This little label above the barcode may have something to do with why you can't get your hands on some tru oil.

I'm still wondering what kind of lost an evil mind will sell a product to the world except to the state of California.
Maybe they have a good reason for it or it's just that we Californians are too ugly to use that product 👍
