Part of me wants to accept the premis of the theory and part of me wants to call marketing shenanigans :D
I guess only time will tell, as one of the reponders wrote, lets meet back here in 40 years time and see..
Don't know if it has any tonal benefits, but the whole heating in a vacuum idea does sound quite plausible from a science perspective to preserve the wood and keep it in shape for longer...
Seen a few Charvel Guitars with the torrefied maple necks. Guthrie Govan swears by the stability
