Phroz's LP-1M
now i have finished my Strat its time to get back to work on my Les Paul LP-1M so far i have removed the binding from the body and doweled the machine head holes and re drilled them to fit vintage machine heads fitted neck, I have grain filled it and primed it 4 coats of primer filler and have blocked the body back till its super flat to get a glass finish. i have painted 1st coats of silver to the body and not sure whats next as i am wanting something different than stained which has been done to death and i have 3 already
here is primed and dust coat to get it perfectly flat

All silver with black hardware would look great.

That colour scheme is very unique. I like it.

yeh wasnt sure about the silver a bit to stark for me so i am going gunmetal and a black burst has had a few problems getting the burst from not over take the gunmetal so far i have cleared it with 4 double header coats going to sand it with a 800 grit then 2 more clear coats and ill leave it for a week to harden up

i went and purchased a little touch up gun which helped with keeping the burst going on to thick i have a air brush but found this little gun worked better for the guys wanting to have a cheap set up to get a way from the spray cans i got this little gun and a small compressor all up $140
this is the little gun was pretty good to get the pressure down to 10psi can see its size to one of my full size guns

this little compressor works well with the gun i have a larger compressor and bigger guns but its over kill to do guitars with
