First build - Part 2

This part worried me the most...

Laying down a white basecoat over the black and covering with cling wrap while wet. Took two attempts. First attempt I took too long to take off the wrap and it looked rubbish!
Had to wash off all the wet white paint, dry sand back to black, respiratory black and start again.

Second attempt with thinned down paint and a quick on and off with the wrap and things looked better

Thats a cool effect Mareton, where did you get the idea for that?

Andy, I watched a couple of guys in the US on YouTube painting a motorbike fairing and the end result looked pretty good.

Thought it would look cool on a guitar.

That looks pretty cool Marelton. I'm a bit over the "swirl" effect but this is something a bit different. Love it.

Gotta say that if it was me I'd be tempted to leave it in that colour, I reckon it looks great already.
