Can anyone give me some tips on resizing photos to meet the limits on this site?
Have lots of photos for my build diary but struggling to get them resized without loosing parts of the image or reducing the image quality
Thanks

Hi Marelton, what are you manipulating the photos with? Mac, PC, Phone?
iPad. Is the restriction on memory size or photo dimensions?
Great advice Andrew, many thanks. Have now resized all my pics I want to post.
I haven't actually used an image resizer on any of the photos I have shown in my threads. I uploaded all of my photos to Photobucket, and copied the image address and pasted it into the comment where I wanted it. Pictures are nice and big, and don't seem to be a drain on the site. They are probably automatically resized when I add the photos to my PB account.
Yep, as Zandit says, I find it heaps easier to host pics on an image sharing site (I prefer imgur.com) and then embed them into your post using the BB code. Copy and paste the address in between [img] and [/img] and your pic will appear at full size wherever you want it within your post.
Same goes with videos and links. Check out the BB code list at the bottom of the page for more info.
Good info, thanks. I'll try this on my next post
Looks like you got the info you needed. Great pics by the way!
