Neck fits nice and tight. The bridge holes where already drilled. I placed the bridge over the holes and measured from the nut to the G string saddle was exactly 34 inches.

Traced the headstock from my jazz bass onto the back of the neck. Might have a look online for a template as well.
that shape looks fine Big Mike, go for it start cutting and sanding !
Nice looking Jazz bass too, what year is it and where was it made ?
P Basses are great - never thought I'd like it, but it turns out I love it!
Bundy Rum towel...nice
Err umm, yes, Bundy Rum, I haven't touched the stuff since that party in 1985 :p, great towel though!
My Jazz Bass is a Squire Vintage Modified '77 with a Fender Modern Player neck and a Baddass bridge. All done by the previous owner. I changed the pick guard from black to the red tortoise.
So I took a weeks leave to do some painting around the house. Well you got to do something waiting for the coats to dry right? It's going to need a fair bit of sanding. I wasn't game to cut the bit near the neck :o
Don't let the Triton bench fool you, it was a gift from a mate, I only ever used it as a bench.
Looking good, Mike. Just leave the bit near the fret board, it'll blend right in.
shape looks good Big Mike, plenty of cleaning up to do. Love your jazz bass looks great !
