Hi, there I've been playing guitars for years, with mixed success, and I've always wanted to try my hand at lutherie. Well that's a big cliff to jump from so I figured I'd start with a kit. Found this great site and decided to take the plunge.
Ordered (on back order) a LP-1ss (spalted maple Les somebody or other). I am excitedly awaiting its arrival to Japan.

I would like to say a big welcome to the forum to you, I, to, am new to guitar lutherie so I can understand how excited you must be feeling, there's lots of members to ask for advice while you are in the process of building your guitar kit up into a finished and playable guitar, I've found that the other forum members to be pretty friendly, so don't be afraid to ask for advice if you feel the need to do so, above all, have lots of fun in the process too.
