Hello my friend is after a Explore.. but he can't find any wiring diagrams.. It is also a 5 string as well

Hi Sheven, the YB-4 diagram will work, just presume there are 2 humbuckers.
The EX-5 kit has 2 volumes and one tone so this will work

Hi Sheven,

I finished an EX-5 about 2 months ago and it is wired up exactly the same as a Fender Jazz Bass being 2 x volume & 1 x tone. It is really quite simple and even though the humbuckers are 4 wire conductor from memory I think a couple were already joined up which were left alone leaving just the hot & ground wires to hook up.

I googled J Bass wiring diagrams which produced plenty of results to pick from.
