Don't believe the hype people. Caribbean rosewood/ chechen is not a true rosewood. So watch what you are paying for it. It is plentiful and in good supply. Suppliers like to charge more than what it is worth because someone along the way gave it the "rosewood " label. You should not expect to pay anymore than $15.00 a board foot.
