Hi Ben, welcome, please tell us more what the kit is and any previous experience and what your build plans are
Building a TLA-1 using a Dingotone Body Finish Kit – Nullarbor Ochre with Wilkinson Lic Vintage Tele Pickups. Never built a guitar before so this is my first. Plan on staining the body but leaving the neck and using Henna to stain the neck as well as the headstock. Not sure if i will Henna the fretboard yet going to see how well the stain sticks to the back. Not sure what Headstock shape I will use just yet.
your plans sound good Ben, start a build diary and do a mock build before you start to check everything fits ok.
Ask any questions you have there, there is a heap of knowledge and experience on the forum to help !
Will do as soon as my kit arrives.

Welcome Ben. Just take your time and have a good time with your build. Sounds like you have a good idea what you want. May I suggest a standard Tele headstock shape? Tried and true man. Keep us posted on your progress. Cheers!
Thinking a thinline headstock atm even tho its not a thinline Tele shape. Thanks for the welcome all.Quote:
