Wokka's ES-3
Picked up this kit from the sale couple of weeks ago, very happy with the quality of the kit and the neck pocket fit is sweet as. This kit has the best looking fret inlays I've seen on a PBG kit. DB is coming up with a custom colour, so stay tuned on that. Probably won't start this build for a month or two, still got a heap of unfinished kits

Looks awesome Woks, but she needs a bigsby :) !!
cheers,
Gav.

cheers Gav, I never thought of a Bigsby, will order one for sure. Anyone know the cheapest Bigsby supplier ? I'll check out Realtone

By the way, from what I understand, a bigsby needs a centre block and these guitars only have a bridge support. I might be wrong.
-
very good point Pablo, would be pretty hard to mount another block behind the bridge support block, so might have to stick with the trapeze tailpiece
-
Love the fretboard inlay dude. But bugger me - you'll be in for a mega sandingfest with this baby!
-
cheers Max. Yes the body is big and it's got binding top and bottom of the body so this will need a heap of sanding. It's nice and light though being a hollow body

Wokks, the Bigsby B70 I used on my ES was purchased from thestratosphere for $95 US plus $14 US postage, about $120 AU all up at the time. I don't think they do Ebay sales anymore but have their own site stratosphereparts.com. They are US company so have to allow for our dollar dropping. Had a look and they list the same model for $105 US plus post ($45?). Realtone list $199 AU plus post. Depends if can glue a mounting block in place or if this is the way you want to go.
My 2 cents worth.
