Firstly working out where the frets need to go would be painstaking ,then cutting out the shaped frets on the fretboard .If that isn't enough to bamboozle most people . Then you have to make the frets and fit them.

The amazing thing isn't how they make them. They just press a button on a CNC.
The amazing thing is the theory behind it. Looks hella ugly though.
Anybody asked Jarrod about doing these fretboards. Come on Jarrod you can do it . I love to watch anyone crown the frets lol

Yes, now crowning them would be task.
The probably have their own Plek system to do it. If you want to put these frets on a neck, you have to send it to them to do it in house.
I saw a guitar that didn't have those types of frets but it had full frets, half frets and even quarter frets all up and down the neck. Steve was the first person I ever saw use a fret board like the one pictured.
I must play one see how they feel .
