Hello from Brisbane

Hi,

I've just started my guitar journey. My son and I are both learning how to play the acoustic guitar. I learnt how to play another instrument through school, but haven't touched it in over 20 years.

So my son found a How to build your electric guitar book in the library and hasn't been able to put it down. So after reading through the book with him, I decided it was something that he and I could do together. So quick search on Google led me to Pit Bull Guitars and less than a week later I have a parcel sitting in my office with my new guitar.

I've started a build thread and will be posting my progress over the next few months while we are building it. Happy for advice from the experienced builders out there.

Spent a couple of hours on the build after lunch today, my offsider was excited at first, but when I kept checking and re-checking the alignment of the neck his interest waned a little. Came back once I had the neck on and started test fitting the other hardware.
