Printing a photographic image on wood why not your headstock

How about printing a photographic image on your headstock or body does this enthuse anyone

Wouldn't just be limited to headstocks either, the possibilities are literally endless. My concern would be the finish of the medium once it's cured and how it interacts with clear coats.
Would definitely like to try this.
