Today 26th Oct 2014 Jack Bruce 71, slipped away. A sad day for Music, a sad day for all the world.
Jack's writing skills and Bass playing skills were the rock that Cream was built on.

first I've heard, what a legend, sad to see him go
As a young bass player, Jack was the biggest influence of my playing style. I'm old enough to remember listening to the Wheels of Fire Live Album and realizing that what I thought was Clapton's guitar was actually Jack's bass. What a legend. He will be sadly missed.
