		Hi All.
I needed to some how work out how to make a lollypop stick for my set neck builds. I know I can't drill down into the neck cavity as it is too thin.
What I did was drill into the neck cavity to the body section in front of the pickup area.
I have made one from 70*30 timber(cut to fit the neck slot width and a 2mm metal angle bracket.
The bracket is a 40x60x50 2mm bracket from Bunnings.
As the bracket has pre drilled holes it was easy to mark the holes in the neck route and pre drill a couple of 2mm holes into the body. Then sit the bracket on a 50x40 piece of pine or similar. mark a couple of holes and pre drill
Next screw the bracket to the body, then slide the lollypop stick under the plate and screw it in place.
As I used a 30mm thick piece I put a spacer under it while I screwed it inplace.
I plan to make a metal version using a 20mm piece of tube welded to the bracket.
Obviously you can use this for a bolt on by locating and drilling the bolt through holes. :)
