New Tele off the table!
Love the knots and imperfections gives it some character !
will curve the surface and make a brass one piece plate of some sorts all with cnc of course just to bring joy to the haters out there who believe cnc is not good enough to express your creativity in any way! its my tool of choice to make what I like the same way others like their caveman old school stuff, I do have some relics in my shop I promise! love looking at them, brings a tear or 2 for and from my good old times! then press START! tears gone! ...ANYWAY!
here I go onward and forward into my future! Cnc Ablazing and parts just fly off like greased lightning! whoohoo!"Bring Me another Cutter!" he shouts! need to feed the monster pure Carbide Tungsten as its staple diet! it does like shnaking those!
this was actually just to show my buddy who has a guitar shop what can be done with 27min cutting time, it was his wood, and when I asked him what he was gonna do with it, he said he was just gonna chuck into the back of his workshop never to see the light of day ,SOO Its mine now! bwahahaha!

looks great Haydn, I don't mind the knotty look. I've built a couple of camphor bodied guitars and its nice wood to work with and the smell when cutting is nice.
Where did your buddy get the blank from ? He's mad to want to chuck it !

Thanx
this was a reject I think was a cutting plaything
He imports them and a few other exotic timbers too, cant say dont want to piss the owners here off

Man, that has some fantastic grain Haydn. It's gonna make a magnificent looking axe.
-
Man, that is superb.
IMO art is art, regardless of the tools used to create it.
Keep it happening . . .

Pretty cool.... you say it takes 27 minutes to cut the body out? How long does it take to set up the machine and the blank?... Just curious to know because I can can produce a body blank in 35 minutes via the "cave man" method :)
