Top stuff. Now that's the way you cut a body blank.
How long does it take to write a program for that? I think your the envy of all us hobbyist's with your brilliant setup. I still can't get over the fact you designed it all too.

Completely GREEN with envy . . .
Just brilliant IMO.

Thanx DanMade
Im glad I didnt copy anybodys ideas on my machine, its one of a kind and has never broken down or missed a step in the 5 years its been running, the good part is if it ever does I can fix it right away without even thinking why?
as far as plans go for guitars
there are hundreds of dxf and cad files to every concievable axe ever made out on the web..I just search through the crap and find something that resembles what the plan of attack is...go over the cad with ruler and an excample you have in your hands and pretty much and hour or 2 its there including making all the tool paths and corrections..I have made my own dxf's as well takes a little longer for excactly the same thing ,and if you going to make a replica well thats all it is a replica so not fussed,Making my own designed stuff is much faster as Iknow where everything is going its just a matter of putting into numbers easy when you know how, that part took a while but stopped pulling my hair out now,
this is one site I just found the other day check this out...

search guitars
pretty cools 3D rendered stuff if you into that kinda thing,

Awesome stuff matey, (and I'm envious ;) ) I only ever got around to building a 4 axis foam cnc using the Hobby Cnc 4 axis board, stepper motors n draw slides. Are you running a motor for the spindle and I take it with that speed you are using servo motors along with Mach 2 as soft wares?
-
Hi AJ
I used rack and pinion "Hi quality machined stuff" yes and a Watercooled VFD( Variable Frequency Drive)Driven 3 phase 1.8kw motor with Mach 3 Im getting a .03 repetitive accuracy with my setup and am happy to cut Aircraft grade Ali at high speed, this was running at quarter throttle really , will ramp the speed up a little at a time until it starts burning the wood then back it off a little and go from there!

you certainly made a quality cnc table there :)
