Wow, looking good! That walnut stain has really popped the grain. It's a beautiful caramel shade too. I bet you are pleased with it. Will be great to see it with the hardware on. These IB-5 kits really are spectacular! Keep us posted with future progress! I need more exclamation marks!!!
cheers,
Gavin.

Hi Brett and welcome to the PBG Family.
Wow, that looks nice. Having built an IB-5 myself I can tell you that they sound just as good as they look, and they do look awesome.
cheers.

Sweet - can't fault the IB-5.

holy cow Brett that IB-5 looks amazing, you got a ripper grain especially the lower piece of the body the grain is incredible. The walnut stain really suit the grain and its almost popping out of my 2D screen ! What was the clear you used ? Tru Oil ?
I'm getting very afraid to enter an axe for GOTM November !

I used cabots walnut stain and I sprayed the clear ,Cabot's CFP. 1st coat i applied decent coat to fill the grain ,i let it dry for roughly a week and sanded it back then sprayed a couple of really thinned out coats.
