My kit continued 2

Ok This time.Well, out came the sandpaper, after 4,003,221 tears later (still remember you Judy) I finally got it to what I think is ok, then put some of the neck base coat in there , well at least there is no great big ridges.

Tomorrow, install pickups', hardware, and solder, ummm strings and set up.HEY THE END IN IN SIGHT.

Are you wanting to create each part of your build process as a new thread? It might be better to rather keep everything under your initial build thread to keep the thread nicely structured and for people to track / enjoy your build process? With numerous threads if you run into trouble it's harder to follow your process and to help.

I suspect that you are having issues with figuring out how to post pictures? At the lower right hand side of the screen in blue you will find a "Reply to:" in blue. Use this as opposed to the quick reply to post pictures.

What browser are u using?

I see that Rick used the path on his computer files to attempt and post the pics, always use the "Reply" button on the bottom-right corner of the messages to post pics

If you press the "Quote" button it will give you three photo slots for loading pictures. I just delete the quote and go from there.

Ok, today I fitted the hardware, pickups, and wired. as I was doing the setup, adjusting the neck, I was amazed to find a left hand thread, never came across on on a truss rod before, but hey it works. I have put the supplied strings (not pit bull), tuned it done some setting up, it still needs a slight adjustment but will play it in first then change the strings and do final work.
You may be looking, shaking your head saying, "what a strange pick up in the front" ok easy to explain. A long story about a guy in Canada making me a guitar (from scratch) he had a seymour duncan hb in the front and a seymour duncan p100 (or something in the back). I changed the p100 to a di mazio super distortion and the p100 is that funny looking thing in the front of this.
Another thing that may have caught your eye is that black button between the volume and tone controls. Well it's not working at present (and I dont know why just now) But when it WILL work is (should) be a stutter button. I've never seen a stutter button on a thinline tele, and I dont use them anyhow, but hey it took me 15 minutes. Oh hold on it's not going yet 000000HHH.
