Archtop Tailpiece on LPs???

Hey guys, can this bridge fit on a Les Paul???

And I don't really care about the stoptail studs, I just want to make sure it fits and doesn't hang too far on the back!

The hinged part is too long for the LP.
It is 21/2 inches long, which is 63mm. The LP is 48 mm deep.
