I have never really build a guitar, modified and fixed some, but never built from scratch.

I have a question, couple of year ago, there was a whole line of multiscale guitars. I know that there were some changes regarding supplier and this line was supposed to be back in October (not sure which year exactly but definitely past October ;)). Is there any info about GMS line coming back? Specifically I am looking for something like GMS-7 (7 string multiscale with headstock).

Hi and welcome poitqek.

I'm sure that Pitbull Guitars had a lot of troubles with the quality of the kits from the supplier producing the multiscale kits and therefore were not dealing with them anymore. So, I don't think they are coming back.

Hopefully PBG will clarify this for you! It may be best if you email them your question.

As Trevor said, the fabricator that supplied those kits had very serious quality control issues, so we won’t be going back there.

As yet, we are yet to source an alternate supplier that can produce the quality we expect, at a price we’re willing to pay - or, more specifically, at a price that our customers would be willing to pay.

I have a handful of the old 6-string version body/necks but all the hardware is gone.

If only this old version you have was 7 string :( I don't really need hardware (wanted to source my own anyway, putting everytune multiscale probably), but making body and neck is beyond me at this stage

I hope that you'll be able to source new supplier quickly, especially since as far as I could see, old version was quite popular
