Crack in guitar. Is it fixable?

I got a guitar from Hillsound music and it arrived the other day. I realised that the guitar has a few cracks in it and hillsound said to use a wood filler, but I’m just wondering if that will work with the crack that has light shining through it. I have photos once I can figure out how to do it.

Sounds like Hillsound are trying to avoid taking responsibility for supplying a faulty product. Return it!
