Hello All from rainy Sydney

Just joined the forum and about to start my second Pitbull, just wanted to try and clear up some questions.
The kit is a GR-1SF.
The supplied electrics included 2x A500K pots and 2x B500K pots.
This model has 2x pickup volumes and a master volume and 1x master tone.
However, the general instructions for builds on the website state A500K for tone and B500K for volume.
Question, will I have problems if I use an A or a B for tone or volume?

Secondly, there were 2x green capacitors supplied with the kit but the wiring diagram only shows 1x capacitor soldered to the master tone pot. Should there be 2x shown and where would the other be attached? Master volume perhaps?

These questions maybe more for Pitbull themselves but would like to clear them up before I start anything.

These questions are best for a build diary or a post in general support.

It does sound like they have given the wrong wiring set. Definitely do not need 2 capacitors since there is only the 1 tone control.
A type pots are usually for volume and B type usually for tone.

I read the post from Fender3x at https://www.buildyourownguitar.com.a...l=1#post200643 and he mentioned that he uses the A type for both volume and tone!

I would try using the two A-type pots for the pickup volumes, a B-type for the Master volume and B-type for the tone.

If you are worried about this then drop Pitbull an email!
