Good for asking. The PB guide settings are wrong when it comes to saddle placement. You want to set the saddles almost all the way forwards, not halfway. Leave a couple of mm of thread poking out. When you intonate the strings, the saddles will move back from the nominal scale length position. The thickest strings move back the most. This is why the screws on the E and A saddles are shorter than the B and G string saddles. Having the saddles starting too far back can leave you short of adjustment room. Just check the scale length on the G string saddle from the G string nut slot position to the centre of the G string saddle slot. That’s the path the string will take.
