Build 2 - JBA-4 BASS Ash body

This one can wait - onto DSCM first.

I must say this is super fun, and one not to bend the rules on this forum - cant just build 1, I thought I should get into another build.

I dont own or never had a Bass, never played one but strangely I want 1. This is a place holder until I get rolling. I am not 100% sold on this one just yet, keen for some guidance and pros and cons of available Bass kits at the moment.

But wanting 4 string, solid body, something other than Basswood with some nice grain to work with. I will go a bit more adventurous with this one, wanting to produce a Cherry red highlighting the grain, so plenty of research to do and happy to receive tips.

If anyone wants to throw some ideas my way, should I look at upgrading any of the hardware, are there better options available
