Craig’s “Teletone”

Not a short video, because I compare 6 guitars in my collection: the kit guitar, 3 x 1980s JV Stratocasters, a 1449 Silvertone amp-in-case, and an 1980 Ibanez Artist AR100.

Please admire the wonderful painting my beautiful wife painted for me in the background, her artist’s impression of a Gibson Les Paul.

My amp is a Laney LC30 running nil effects, just a clean sound comparison of the guitars, so as to showcase the guitars, not any fancy effects.

I like those JVs! And in very good condition.

My mate JimC has a Fender JV Paisley Tele, that he picked up really cheap at the time (sometime in the 80s) as no-one wanted a pink paisley Tele and it had been in the shop quite a while. It is a very nice Tele, but a look that very few people could love.

It sounds like the high E is buzzing on the Teletone.
