Here is my first build...
Hi All,
I recently bought a pitbull body and neck to start my first kit guitar. I used these and bought all of the parts myself. I finally finished today after many weeks of stumbling through the use of dyes, poly coats, drilling errors, and general lack of experience. At this point, I have learned a LOT, and can't wait to do better on the next.
Some things about the guitar:
- Color was done using leather dyes, then sealed with a matte poly.
- 2-point bridge and locking tuners are from Hipshot
- Pickups are GFS Brighton Rock Vintage Pickups
- Pickguard is Aluminum
- Replaced the plastic nut with a bone nut
- All cavities were painted for noise using a Stewmac product
