Hey everyone - I'm Brian and just bought a GTL-1 kit for my first build. Kind of overwhelmed now that I opened it and started looking at the instructions lol. Can't really get to it for a few weeks, but I guess I'll just start at the beginning and take it from there. My creative side envisions doing these kind of projects then once I get started my analytical side says "Why the heck did I think I could do this?" I promise to "search" first but I'm sure I'll have a bunch of annoying questions.

It's a fairly easy kit to build, most of the effort goes into the finish, so you first need to decide how you want to do that.
Are you otherwise fairly familiar with guitars in general, or is it all fairly new to you?
