Hello From North Carolina - Father and Son Project
Hello!
So, my 16 year old son is a major metalhead and a very talented guitarist. He already has a nice 6 string and a nice 7 string guitar. In the never-ending pursuit of heaviness, he decided he wanted an 8 string guitar. Turns out those are generally quite pricey, so instead we bought him the 8 string kit from Pitbull guitars for Christmas. He is thrilled!
We will be posting a build diary as we work through the project. I have a lot of tinkering and woodworking experience, but I have never messed with building instruments. I read through the build guide and it doesn't look too intimidating. His current idea for a color scheme is a very dark gray / black stain with neon green accents. Should be pretty awesome!
