Benjamin Orr Vox Teardrop Bass

I would love to see a kit that comes close to replicating this Vox. His has what look like the bass version of P90s rather than the typical Vox single coils. Really great sound as well as cool looking...

...of course I may be the only one interested...

The popularity (or lack thereof) may be partly a function of location. Most folks on the forum live in places with are more arid than Miami. A guitar or bass shaped like a paddle has obvious practicality here.

If memory serves correctly, there was in fact a PB guitar version of this shape. It didn't seem to last very long though.

Quite a big fan of The Cars music myself. A Bass like Ben Orr would be cool. Nice idea. :)
