Build of PRS-1Q
Im back for a new build, put an PRS-1Q on order and recieved it last week.
Open the box and it was not what i did expect in there, mahogany body was basswood it turned out.
Also is looked like they finisih it up with 60 grit paper, and detaling was not to excelent to.
Anyway, Adam is a nice guy and offer me full refund and return of it, but I will build it for fun and keep it.
Will let me try some new ideas.
For you following earlier builds here, you may notice I upgraded from the wash maskine to reloading bench as my workplace for this project :D

Slowly getting there, any input for me?

Can't think of any. It's normally best to apply the light colours first and move to the dark, but that looks great!

That should look cool when the clear coat goes on. Good job.

That's looking really slick, nice work! Did you sand back for that effect or use mineral spirits to strip out the dark dye/stain?
-
I actually put one layer white in bottom, then black. After that i sanded it back and added more white and some black.
Not easy to get right effects when not adding any bright colours.

Did some shaping of headstock and put some inlays in head, just to learn. Turned out quite ok in the end
