Just putting together guitar and checked ( a bit late I know) and the position to 12th fret from nut 232mm but double that and the bridge pickup cavity would leave no room for intonation.

You look pretty much like spot on 25.5" scale length there to me. You are better off thinking about the full scale length, as the kit is for a 25.5" Fender scale.
I know the routing is a bit tight on some of the Teles, but as long as the saddles are pretty much screwed all the way forwards, then you are normally fine. If you do feel the need to enlarge the pickup rout at all (sometimes the edges of the pickup still catch a bit on the sides), then a small drum sander on a Dremel is the easiest way to do it. But mark the outline of the baseplate so that any hole sits inside it.

Thanks again.....by the way posted on tex mex short wire. Got a reply from Fender and they recommend short wire under bridge.
They have a washer like screw...
