Looking at a AIB-1Q or AIB-1F next, love the look and want to do more wood staining.

Is that foil underneath tinted clear coats?
Mike - with a guitar like that you may want to drift over to the Guitar of the Month and enter!
No it’s all paint, black base, one coat of silver which is covered by plastic film while wet then removed, then candy red over that.
