As promised, here's some shots of this great project. The amp is a Rod Elliot P27 100w TIP 35/36 driven design controlled by a OPA2134 opamp pre-amplifier. The P27 went together very well and the sounds I am getting out of it..............well, blown away ! Slight hum that I will try to rectify, but other than that, it works ! (You must remember I'm not an electronics engineer, but electrical). Still need to install mesh grill above the heat sink.

The amp is standard ESP (Elliot Sound Projects) but I have incorporated the clipping circuit and switch. It was just one component in a complete home built set up. The bass is of course a Pit Bull Guitars JBA-4M. Finish is the same as I do on my rifle stocks, sanded and 0000 steel wooled, scandinavian rubbing oil, Feast Watson Prooftint (maple for body, oak for head stock/rear of fret board, natural ash front fret board). Sealed with carnuba wax for a nice sheen finish.

Speaker box is home made (needs finishing, corners etc). It features 2 x 10" Australian made Lorantz 100w bass drivers at 8 ohms each. These are great speakers for the price and Aussie made to boot. You can get them from Melbourne Music.

Overall, I'm really chuffed with these projects.

Looks good dozy!

I like the effect the "sharks teeth" give on the headstock. (maybe they're not sharks teeth, but that's the first thing I thought of when I saw it)

Thanks McCreed. True story: When I drew up the idea a while back, I looked at it from a certain angle and thought I might actually cut the shapes out of the headstock. There's a good chance I'll do that for a future build.
