I love this thing. I’ve been watching a heap of wood turning videos and a lot of people are using epoxy and pencils with amazing results. I’ve actually ordered about 6000 colour pencils from China to experiment with 😁

I’m waiting for the screws to pop out where they are screwed in the coloured “lead” rather than wood.

I believe it was actually resin coated or infused, I can’t see any way that uncoated cardboard in the neck is going to resist the string pull at the head

Do they mention that in the vid though? I agree, that would be the only way it could work.

Full of epoxy or some other resin. You can tell by the way it shines.
