View Full Version : Our First Zebrawood (Veneer) Kit

Also just added the GS-2Z kit, from the new supplier, which is our first look at the new "Zebrawood" veneered kits.

They do look really good in the flesh (and not too bad in the photos).

They're Mahogany body and neck and come with good quality pickups and hardware.

Again, the bridge post holes have not been drilled, which could be a good thing if you want some bridge options (Hardtail, anyone?)

Nice, would be cool to have one routed for a Floyd Rose style trem, I'd give it a clear finish or maybe a slightly tinted translucent finish.

Dunno about me routing one Doc...a bit beyond me yet, I've found a Schaller floating bridge so far, the plan at the moment is just sand and a tru oil finish, not even sure i will be staining it yet
