Need to raise some cash and selling off a few items in my collection that have barely been touched. Offering them initially here on the forum hoping they go to a good home before listing on Gumtree and eBay.

This is a Week 47 of 2009 Fireglo that was purchased April 2016 and has been played about half a dozen times and never left the house. It was imported in from Japan by a guy in Melbourne who regularly imports vintage high end stuff from Japan.

Compared to my old 1970's 4001 this is so much better sounding and I have also added the bridge pickup bezel modification so that you have somewhere to rest your thumb when playing finger style. I also removed the chromed plastic Bridge PUP cover thingy to make it easier to play. Comes with OHSC and original case candy. Also comes with a stereo splitter cable too.

Not too many marks or blemishes, just the usual binding cracks and crazing which is fairly typical and does not affect the playability. Lots of photos to show it off....Prefer pickup from Caloundra or maybe Caboolture but can also pack for despatch by your courier.

That is one very awesome looking bass Waz. Too nice to not be played so it's too nice for me, but I have a bass player friend who I will try and coax into at least having a look.

What a beautiful Rikky Waz, sounds like the price is cheap for the forumites. I got no need for any more guitars or basses. Sure someone here can find the dosh to snap it up.

Hey Ponch you upgrading the 1970's Ponch Kwaka ?

Cheers guys.

These things don't show up for sale too often and happy to consider reasonable offers somewhere near the asking price.

Sold.....on its way to a happy new owner in Wantirna South Vic which is an outer suburb of Melbourne.

No tears, just sweet memories and very lucky to have owned and played both a 4001 & 4003.
