Hi all
My DIY distortion pedal kit arrived today and I'm just wanting to know before I begin, does it matter what end of the resistor goes in each hole? Here's a picture that might help with my question. Its a 100k resistor and it goes where R3 is.
Cheers, Joe

From my very rudimentary electronics knowledge, no it doesn't matter as they don't have a polarity like a diode, they simply resist current flow. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

No, doesn't matter at all. As it's a DIY project, you might find it useful to install them in a standardised way e.g. all 'horizontal' resistors with the tolerance band to the right and all 'vertical' resistors with the tolerance band at the bottom, so that it makes it a bit easier to check the values in future if things aren't working as they should.
