Just wanted to give you all a sneak peek at these incredible looking single 'bucker, single volume control, hardtail guitars we just received. We've been drooling over these for the past few days.

We're calling these the PBG-X1 and there's 3 colours available:

Black with Black Hardware and Red Binding
21942

Flame natural with Chrome Hardware and Black Binding
21943

Tobacco Burst (or 3 Tone Burst) with Gold Hardware and Cream Binding
21944

Yet to do final pricing and specs, but the should be around the AU$250 mark.

Nice!

I'd still prefer a string-through-body bridge for this type of guitar. My own preference for sure, but it would stop me buying one.

Number 1 and 2 are especially pretty. Not my first choice of style, but I like the look of both.

At that price point Simon, i'd be tempted to get one and just do the conversion. After a suitable period of testing of course.

I was thinking more about the people who'd just want to buy a completed guitar who either wouldn't want to or wouldn't feel able to do such a modification.

Nice, But I would prefer the Natural Finish one with Black Hardware to go with the Black Pickup and Binding..... just a thought, see how it looks.....

Are they mahogany or Basswood?

Infsub send an email to Adam and ask him. The natural one looks like flame maple veneer on probably ash or it may be basswood.

Would it ever be possible one day to order a custom guitar from PBG? We just pick the specs and the factory builds it for us? That would be cool.

You can custom order here but I think restrained to the shape of existing guitars. A lot of flexibility with some creative thinking

They all look like mahogany body according to descriptions in the on-line store

I added these to the site last night. You can see them under the Finished Guitars link

Yes, Mahogany body, Maple neck, 24 frets and no inlays.

One of our regular customers has already dived in, so we will see what he has to say about these guitars... he's going to give me some feedback as stock and then with some nice upgrades.

Is there a way to do a custom order kit in this exact guitar? Its literally what i wanted to build.

‘Finished guitars’ stopped being available about a couple of years ago now.

Kits only now, and only what’s currently listed.

I have suggested in the past that this sub-section gets removed as it's no longer relevant and causes confusion, but no action was taken.

They are very nice. I have the black one. Dropped in a Duncan JB with series parallel circuit and locking tuners.
