On the IB-7 Guitar, there is no hole for where you put the wires through the input jack to the pot holes so do you drill it diaganol with a drill or something else?

-Im asking how to drill the hole so the cables can go through to the pot holes.

Hi Mindis, a bit hard to see in your photos so I've looked at the photos on the PBG site.
So the jack hole goes nowhere no hole at the bottom for wires to the volume pot cavity ?

If there is no hole for wires jack hole to the volume cavity you will have to find a long drill bit, about 4mm diameter will be enough for hot and earth wires from the jack. Make sure you align the angle of the drill bit so it will come out to the volume pot cavity.
Check the other wire holes the switch is near the front bottom bout, there should be a hole switch to neck pup cavity, then a hole between neck and bridge pup cavity, then a hole to the volume pot cavity.
Please check all the other wire holes are there.
Also you will need to run the earth wire from the tremelo spring claw probably back to the volume pot.
All the other holes I have described appear to be drilled on the PBG site pics

no worries Mindis looks like the factory forgot to drill this hole.
Have you got a long drill bit about 4mm diameter ? Not sure what the distance is to the volume pot cavity, you could try a standard 4mm drill and put tighten it close to the end of the bit to give maximum bit length. I would say you need a long drill bit like this

draw in pencil a line that is about centre of jack hole to centre of volume pot cavity and angle the drill flat so it comes out about centre depth of the volume pot cavity to lower the risk of drilling out of the top or bottom of the body. This way to can line up the drill bit angle

no worries Mindis, drill the hole slowly and be aware of the correct angle of the drill. Let us know how it goes please
